A first lesson that starts with your music

Bring a few songs you would love to play. Acoustic and electric guitar are both welcome, and we can use your musical interests to connect chord changes, rhythm, and listening. Families can ask about English, Japanese, or bilingual instruction.

If you’re in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, or Boerum Hill, include your neighborhood and preferred lesson location in your inquiry. Ask about lesson duration and any travel costs so the arrangements are clear beforehand.

What we can work on

Both acoustic and electric guitar students are welcome.

  • Guitar basics, technique, rhythm, and favorite songs
  • Rock, pop, blues, jazz, and improvisation
  • Music theory, songwriting, and creative music-making
  • Instruction in English or Japanese

Lesson inquiries

Because I work with students in different parts of Brooklyn, lesson location and current availability are arranged individually. Please include your neighborhood and whether you’re seeking lessons for yourself or your child.
